jumia affiliate

One of African’s top Brand in E-commerce Jumia has an affiliate program where you can earn up to 13% commission by promoting your unique referral link which will be giving to you after successfully approved to there affiliate network.

Because i can’t share what doesn’t work for me, i never wrote about Jumia affiliate network until i decided to try them out on November 2018 i took it serious on 2019 and Started promoting my Unique referral link as at January 2019 and in less than 3 weeks time my Unique referral id is already generating sales and conversion.

Fast forward to April when i already reached and crossed the threshold of €10 euros but didn’t receive my commission i had to contact them, they apologized for the inconveniences and promised to make it up to me (Stating that i will be receiving my payment in the next week which i never did) this keep repeating and half of the time i contact them, they either ignore my mail or reply in about 72hours time. Remember i am only testing there affiliate and how it works as it is not my main source of income and not among the affiliate program i use on my blog.

Two (2 ) weeks later i received a mail from Jumia Affiliate Network asking me to send my account details, name and address to update my payment details to enable them send me my commissions which they never updated (Meanwhile payment history is already showing sent to finance) i find it hilarious because i am pretty sure my details from name, address to bank details are all correct and if it wasn’t then the payment will never show sent to finance as you can see from below screenshot

Jumia Affiliate Payment
Update: I later received my payment in few weeks time after it had already showed sent to finance
In summary, Jumia affiliate program actually pays only if you can stand the stress of getting paid, Good-luck.
